'The art of reducing noise'
In our turbulent times, silence seems like a necessary escape. 'The art of reducing noise' evaluates this concept looking in-particular at one important figure in history who used this in an astonishing way to evaluate the world we live in.

VIS Vienna Shorts 2019 : A search for silence and space preoccupies the mind of the filmmaker Heidi Stokes in this film. On her quest, she is confronted with a new perspective: that of Alan LaVern Bean—the fourth man on the moon. When asked what outer space is like, his answer is short: “It’s very quiet.” The film is composed of exceptionally beautiful illustrations and looks as if drawn and colored in a sketchbook.
